Effective Date: 2026-07-06 | Version: 2.0
Welcome to PalmPoint! This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. Please read and understand this policy before using the app. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
To adapt to different devices and keep the mouse/keyboard features stable, we collect your device model, operating system version, and a device identifier. The device identifier is also used to enforce the number of devices allowed under a membership.
When you use the Bluetooth HID (mouse/keyboard/gamepad) feature, we access your Bluetooth status and paired device information, and record connection/disconnection events, in order to establish and maintain the connection to your computer.
When you connect your phone to a computer running the PalmPoint host program over Wi-Fi, we process the host name, network address (IP/port) and connection status to establish the connection. Input events, and — only when you actively use the AI assistant / automation features — screen captures of your paired computer, are relayed between your phone and your own paired computer.
If you register or sign in (required for membership features), we collect your email address and account credentials through Google Firebase Authentication, and store your profile and membership status (e.g., validity period) in Google Cloud Firestore.
If you purchase a subscription, the purchase is processed through Google Play Billing. We receive and store the purchase token, product identifier and validity period in order to activate and maintain your membership. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; we do not collect or store your bank card or payment credentials.
We use the information above to provide, maintain and improve PalmPoint's features; to establish device connections; to manage your account and membership; to diagnose faults and fix problems; and to comply with applicable laws.

AI model service you configure (optional) — if you enable the AI assistant / automation features and provide your own model API key and endpoint, the instructions you enter and screen captures of your paired computer may be sent to that third-party AI service to generate responses. This data is processed according to the privacy policy of the provider you choose.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, acting on our behalf to provide the features you request, or when required by law.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law; after that, we delete or anonymize it. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures — including transport encryption (TLS/HTTPS) and access control — to protect your information.
Access & Correction: You may access and correct your account information at any time within the app.
Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time, though this may affect your ability to use some or all features.
You can delete your PalmPoint account and all associated data (profile, membership records, and stored purchase records) in either of the following ways:
1. In the app: Open PalmPoint → User Center → Deactivate Account, and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and its data.
2. By request: Send an email to pointpalm68@gmail.com from your account email with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
Deleted accounts, memberships and data cannot be recovered. Data required to be retained by law (e.g., transaction records for tax/audit) may be kept for the legally required period and then deleted.
PalmPoint is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy in response to changes in law, our services, or other reasons. The updated policy will be shown prominently within the app and on this page.
